Tile Cutting Tools
Tile cutting tools are available in two designs for cutting ceramic and porcelain tile. Push Cutting Tile Cutters and Pull Cutting Tile cutters.
Both style tile cutters use a handle with a scoring wheel and breaker foot. They both use either titanium or carbide scoring wheels.
Push Cutting Tile Cutters are the newest design using 2 steel bars as the handle guide. You place the tile inside the tile cutter table and place the tile cutter handle with the scoring wheel on top of the tile edge closest to you. By placing cutting wheel on the tile edge and pushing the
handle away while applying pressure scoring the tile in complete motion. When you have scored the tile completely you apply the breaker foot handle pushing directly down causing the tile to break along the scored surface.
