Ishii Tile Cutters, ceramic tile cutters are for cutting
ceramic & porcelain tile. The quickest way is by using a hand tile cutter. To cut or "break" tile, simply put the tile on the padded bed,
against the stopping frame. Press the handle down firmly, and roll the cutting wheel along the tile, to
score the glaze. With the wheel now resting in the bed, press down on the
handle, so the T-shape "breaker-bar" will pass down the tile to break along the

Buyer Beware:
Ishi is the inventor of the Pro Two Bar Tile Cutters & Clinker Cutter. Now some
company has made a cheap copy and is selling it through home centers and distributors as the original
Ishi cutters. These tools do not have the same construction quality. We know
because some people are trying to have us honor the defects of a short tile
cutting life. We will not honor any cutter with out Ishi's name on the cutter. Buyer
Beware!
